DoTraining are proud to work with UEL Sports based at The University of East London. UEL Sports are DoTraining biggest consultancy working closely with the High Performance Sports programme. We provide strength and conditioning services to a variety of different university sports. DoTraining work with many professional, semi-professional and international althetes that attend and compete for the university. With over 200 athletes in the programme, UEL has a very diverse cohort of sportsmen and women.
DoTraining’s cunsultancy has created multiple BUCS champions, Olympians, Para-Olympians and Professional athletes. The university provides scholarships for its high performance athletes. It gives an amazing opportunity for athletes in the borough and beyond to further their athletic careers while getting an education. All training in based at the universities Docklands campus. The university has a high performance gym “Aqua” and the london 2012 olympic training veune “sports dock”.
The UEL High performance programme started in just 2010. DoTraining started to provided S&C provision for the university since 2012. During this time the univesity has created a bespoke high performance training venue (Aqua). Each year UEL have improved on the previous years success. 2016 saw DoTraining provide provisions for not only the university high performance athletes but also the Team UEL and UEL Sports development athletes. In 2010 the university places just 124th in the BUCS rankings. Over then next 5 years it has risen to 47th. This is a huge achievement based on the fact that the sports programme at the university is still very small when compared to other schools in the top 50.

Dotraining provide the university with 5 members of staff listed below. We also run a very popular and successful internship programme. The UEL Sports internship programme provides a great opporunity for aspiring strength and conditioning coaches. The interns on the programme get first hand experience working with elite athletes. UEL is a registered TASS training facility and provides strength and conditioning support for athletes that are awarded TASS funding. The Talents Athlete Scholarship Scheme, enables a variety of athletes from the region to access the performance coaching expertise at UEL. DoTraining’s director Duncan Ogilvie is the lead TASS practitioner at UEL. Under the TASS banner Duncan has worked with sports such as Disabled football, Boccia, Gymnastics, Sailing, Judo, T&F, Wheelchair Basketball.
